We enjoyed "painting" leaf art today with markers and spray bottles of water and watching the fall colors spread together. Here's a sneak peek, but they will be on display in a different form on Tuesday ... hint: check out our tree that morning. ;)
In addition to strengthening our bodies through fun gross motor activities like dance, Yoga and movement, we've also be engaging those little muscles with lots of fine motor skill toys such as lacing cards, beads, puzzles and playdoh.
We hope you enjoyed reading the books that we created this week, "My Manners at School." The kids were very proud to get to bring them home today and share with you what we've been working on this week.
We've been learning many new songs and enjoying some classics as well. Here are a couple of group shots of the kids singing "Peace Like a River" to Weather Bear as his lullaby at the end of the day-- very sweet!
Many thanks to families for donations of materials from our classroom wish lists. Luca's family got us some fun dot stampers that we'll get into soon, as well as a barn toy that has been a popular addition to our dramatic play area. Thank you also to Emmett's family for the tempera paint and rainbow array of card stock-- we'll be putting all of these fun art materials to good use in the coming weeks!

This group of Kids are adorable, I had an amaizing time with them and Ms. Nicole. LOVE!!!!
